📜 About the Game

Start with a paperclip. End with... who knows?

Clip-To-Currency is a narrative-driven, first-person trading game inspired by the legendary "paperclip challenge" but with a twist. This is not just about upgrading items. It's about uncovering stories, exploring class struggles, and navigating the delicate balance between greed and compassion.

You begin with nothing, walking the streets of a modern-day Canadian city, engaging in trades with uniquely voiced and stylized NPCs. Each one carries their own burden. Your goal? Climb the economic ladder, item by item, not by force or skill—but by listening, understanding, and exchanging.

💥 Gameplay Loop

  1. Explore the city using WASD + Mouse.

  2. Approach NPCs and interact using E key.

  3. Initiate dialogue, offer a trade, and listen to their story.

  4. Evaluate whether to accept, decline, or hold out for a better opportunity.

  5. Ride the TTC to Union Station once you've acquired a Presto card.

  6. Continue trading until you've made it to the top… or helped someone else do it.
